Poetry
Tonight
Tonight I tuck in your ear, what
I dreamt you’ll forget in the morning
The morning burst forth brutal and wild
Violated a fine line.
And I could see in the gaze that you’ve gaped
The remains of the words you were whispered.
Tonight I dreamt a wild morning
Stubbornly knocking on my eyelids
And I didn’t even open a crack
To violate the clarity of my secrets.
At dawn I awoke into a dream
We passionately loved upon the desert’s soil
And in the serenity that set over us after the fact
I tuck words in your ear again.
And it seemed that you knew all the secrets
And you knew how to keep from me.
